Creative Puppeteer

For this project I created characters using fabric and and connected them to robotic arm and micro controllers via various motors and circuits. The desired movement which was inspired from Kurdish dance that I had coded on micro controllers were played by puppets. The idea of this project was to ultimately create more complex and effective performances by using the art and creativity of human puppeteers as well as the automaticity and flexibility of the robot ones to create plays that could not be practically implemented without this cooperation.

This project was acclaimed and showcased in the Spring ITP Show 2018 in New York.
